Artist's Comments:
This is the famous arch at Cabo San Lucas in Baja, California, except it is fancifully submerged. Under the arch, a grey whale feeds on critters filtered from the sandy sediments. I painted this watercolor for Carlos who lives on the hillside overlooking the harbor there.
