Calypso was the fabled goddess in Homer’s Odyssey, who held the mortal Odysseus captive for 7 years, yet failed to make him immortal. Captain Cousteau’s Calypso, on the other hand, succeeded. Here he is, in his red cap, aboard his famous vessel, traversing the oceans in his legendary logo.
